At BCJ Design, I create unique, handcrafted practical objects using professional-grade polymer clay, glass, hypoallergenic metals, semi-precious stones, and a variety of carefully selected materials. My work is deeply inspired by nature, fantasy, dark fantasy, gothic, and steampunk aesthetics. From magical creatures and fairy houses to enchanted forests and forgotten ruins, each piece tells a story and invites you into a different realm.

One of a kind hancrafted notebook cover.
During a trip to France I visited some of the most beautiful cathedrals and churches from the gothic architecture period. To me personally, it envokes a sense of melancholy and calm, reminding me of pondering and relaxing in the weirdest of places as a young goth 20 years ago.

High-quality elegant notebook in black eco-leather
Lined paper, high-quality 100gsm thickness, cca 334pages/167sheets
Marked pages, 1 page with two columns: "topic" + "page", 1 page with a couple of shorter lines for example, for the name, the rest of the page have a page number and line to write the date
Standard notebook is depicted on the picture. If you would like a refillable one, it has less pages, but alas, it's refillable.

Care instructions:
Items can be cleaned with a soft, dry brush first. If that did not remove the dirt, use a dry wipe. If dirt is more significant, use regular alcohol-free baby wipes. Make sure they are free from alcohol, as it's a solvent that could disturb the surface. Swipe them gently and don't repeat too many strong movements to keep the varnish intact. Do not use solvents, bend the artwork or submerge it in water. And treat it like you would any other precious jewelry or notebook.

Handcrafted mirror cover - with professional grade polymer clay. (Fimo professional by Staedler). The metod is dotting into stamped window outlines and enhancing outlines with dotting tools. Minor imperfections are to be expected. Painted with metallic mica powders and glazed with satin-finish varnish. The mirror is double sided with regular side and concave side.

There’s just something about putting Art to use, that inspirational flow you get when you pick up your favorite notebook or turn on your favorite ambient light…Therefore, instead of creating only decorative Art, I decided to sculpt journal covers, lamps and artisan jewelry.
Tree of Life wedding art commission, created as a meaningful centerpiece for a special day. It’s designed to hold photos, with custom hooks placed along the branches (not shown in this photo). The piece also includes a custom LED light installation, controlled via a mobile appable to sync with music, adding warmth and atmosphere to the celebration.

Majority of my designs are inspired by organic textures that you usually see in nature.
Aside from sculpting, landscape photography is simply something I cannot escape. Landscapes fill my soul with creative juices.
Creating process
Every process starts with an idea, and ideas don’t turn into reality so easily. There’s a lot of thought put into every single piece. From carefully choosing the materials, experimenting with strength of polymer clay by using different formulas, over creating sketches and conditioning the clay…to finally sculpting the piece.

How would life look like without Art? Movies, music, books, paintings, sculptures, architecture… Art is that piece of a puzzle that makes the world better, our minds wonder and gives a sense of peace when we most need it.
Fantasy is no different. If any of my pieces can make you wonder off into another dimension even for a brief moment in time, and put a smile on your face…then I have achieved my goal.
